Have you ever laid in bed on a Sunday evening and thought, “damn, I really shouldn’t have done that.” Well, that was not me this evening. I had a heck of a weekend. And will share some teaser photographs for some upcoming posts.
Contrary to some recent speculations, the third reason as to why I am single is not because I’m a nut, but because: I carry around a snot rag (or hankie to sound more lady-like). This became quite evident the past couple of weeks when I had my stinkin’ cold. But I won’t share all reasoning now. Stay tuned for that thriller of an explanation.
I hung out with some good friends. And a new one. Drank a few drinks. Re-introduced an old habit. Stayed up until about eight thirty a.m. until I was told I should rest a few hours before driving. And then slept the entire Saturday away to only wake up thinking, “fuck, that’s just what I needed.”
Walked in a runway show! This was for the oh-so-fabulous Fashionably Chic Traveling Boutique and Fiat Feminae. I had a wonderful time and will surely post more photographs from being backstage, getting all glam with some lovely ladies and also share my experience with a recent photo shoot I did for their website a few weeks back.
Experienced my first JETS game at the Perreault residence. This meant: matching jerseys, a whole lot of horrible-for-you but oh-so-tasty snacks, beer, laughs, screaming, elbowing, pacing, but most importantly fun! I can’t wait to for next week’s game and my spicy buffalo chicken dip. Be jealous.
I’m thankful I wasn’t swamped with homework looming over my head but do feel bad that I didn’t make it up to Saratoga to celebrate Beano’s birthday. Just an excuse for me to make the trip up there one day this week. Last week was a doozy with being away from my desk and working one-on-one with the students, but I can’t complain because the days go by quickly. Looking forward to my lunch breaks this upcoming week… to rest of course!
I’ll leave ya’ll with the daily inspiration I received Friday morning, the first day of autumn!

Day 9 Words of Wisdom from Pickles: As the seasons are changing and becoming more beautiful… so are you. Everything is changing and all the simple things are once again beginning to become the things that make us so happy… the crisp feel in the air, our favorite boots or stockings and of course football season 🙂 You’re slowly but surely coming into your own… making new traditions and new memories and most importantly, new things to smile about!
