It’s a mix of everything that has been running through my head, that I insist on sharing with y’all (in hopes that you too will love ’em).
First things first. If you haven’t seen this video going viral on the oh-so-popular media site, watch it. Now. It is hilarious. I love love love that last two children…. you sneaky mom!
Secondly, I stumbled upon this site randomly and instantly fell in love with its content. theanimalprintshop.com Yes, all of these animals are real and yes, I think I’m obsessed with the baby porcupine.
There are so many to choose from and start at just $25. Not all of them are babies BUT they would look the cutest in a nursery (not like I’m planning anything or anything).
I’m always browsing the internet looking for great blogs to follow, and again, I stumbled upon this one. It’s a stay at home mother who only posts photographs and details about her children’s bentos (or lunch box delights). I don’t know why I return to the site each day; I don’t have kids nor do I pack my lunch (because I walk home daily). But as a nanny for six years, lunch was always the last thing I threw together before running out of the door. I’ll be spending more time with the kids over the next couple of months and can’t wait to try some of these recipes/ideas out. I guess I just can’t wait to have kiddos of my own to do this for– get my creative on!
For all you mums out there reading, you’re welcome.
If you didn’t know this already about me, I’m in love with etsy.com. I get the email each day and spend probably thirty minutes browsing; finding super handmade gifts and trinkets. Well, I found this artist that makes customized state salutations– you choose the color, the word that’ll be neatly incorporated and where the star should be located. Great for weddings, remembering a vacation or housewarmings. Oh- and they’re only fifteen bucks. Find ’em here.
Lastly, I’ll mention a blog that I have been stalking for about two years now. JP Elario is this fabulous photographer from Saratoga and his images are often breathtaking. Well, I stalk it so much, I’ve started recognizing some of his clients out in public. Example: last week at the fights I saw an engaged couple that he had JUST blogged about there. My friends were all laughing but then the ultimate blog stalking dream happened [well, almost. He could have taken MY photograph]– I saw him out photographing a bride and groom! It was all snowy but that didn’t stop me. I quickly parked and ran down the street to grab a quick photograph on the iPhone. I couldn’t leave without saying hi, of course. Welllllll, let’s just say I made his blog. Check it out here.
I’ve got a busy next couple of days ahead of me… but I’ll take note and photographs. Remember, do one thing a day that scares you.
