WHY HELLO THERE
My name is Jona Lee (it’s pronounced John-ah) and I’m enjoying life in Troy, New York. This space serves as an extension of myself, sharing recipes, life lessons and some personal things here and there. I have always loved connecting with others and hope to continue that trend for a long while.
When I’m not hooked up to the computer quoting, collecting and blogging, you can probably find me eating french fries, running on the streets in the early morning hours, catching up with friends over sushi, talking in my best Snuffleupagus voice around the apartment with the beau, or hiking to new summits. Please contact me for any inquires or friendly hellos.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What does “zeelemons” stand for? You know the saying, “when life gives you lemons…” well, this was me one day challenging life to pass as many lemons to me and I’ll always make lemonade. “The” sounds a little fancier and more fun with a faux French accent.
How can I get ahold of you? You can say hello at jona(at)zeelemons(dot)com.
How long have you been vegan for? My official date of making the switch is January 1, 2013 and no, it was not a resolution.
I’m coming to visit Troy, NY for the day! What should I do? Please search “Troy” on my sidebar while planning your trip. Too many to list here!
Is life really that perfect? No, I never said my life was perfect. I just choose to document and focus on the good that is in my life rather than dwelling on the bad- or what I don’t have. Although I do like to keep things on the positive side, you will occasionally stumble on something a little more emotional. I find that in sharing these I not only move forward, but connect to a lot more readers who may also be experiencing that same feelings/life experience. Have you ever heard the saying, “comparison is the thief of joy”? It couldn’t be more true in the blogging world. Please don’t compare your life to my blog (or any other blog for that matter). Step back and spread the happiness.
