…and instead of kicking it off by cleaning my apartment as planned, I’ve done nothing. But relax. Where might I be going for vacation you ask? Home. And there’s nothing like it. People were laughing that I was making a list of things I wanted to do this next week, but in reality, if I don’t, I’ll never remember them all. (FYI for future blogs, I am a list maker. For everything. When I was little aka five I would make lists of everything I needed to wash in the shower or put on in the morning. Not because I would forget, but because I like crossing them off. I’m just saying, fore warning.) And what might you be asking is on this list? Here is a short compilation of my favorites (must do’s):
– Breakfast at the Saratoga Racetrack
– Drive-ins (which would cross two items off my list because apparently Inception is the movie to see this summer)
– Hike one new mountain
– Attend one show/concert
– Alive @ 5 (I’ve lived in the area all my life and have never attended. And this is the last week of the summer)
– Mini road trip. This time last year I was driving cross-country and had the time of my life. Any suggestions as to where I should go or see? Maybe an overnight? Oh, I can’t wait to see what this week will bring!
So if I have any takers who would care to join me, awesome! The more the merrier.
I’d also like to get my nutrition and workout schedule back on track. No excuses this week and if I’d like to run my first marathon early next year, there’s no better time to start preparing. It’s going to be a long (and successful) journey! Oh! Shout out to Gabe, the lights guy from class. He hooked me up with this blog; hence why he’s getting an A in the course. Holla.
I think I’ll finish up with a photograph from my vacation last summer. A little out of focus but a classic yogi tea shot. This was in Idaho, after a night filled with cheese, wine, a meteor shower and really good company.
