Dear New Office: I just realized I’m also going to be able to listen to what ever radio station (or iPod playlists) that I want to. This means, NO MORE ADELE: ROLLING IN THE DEEP! phew. Dear Essie: I’m officially addicted. I got two new colours last evening, e-nuf is e-nuf and big spender. I just keep telling myself that these little investments last forever and seem to have an almost endless supply of happiness (with each use of course). Dear New Fluffy Pillows: You worked wonderfully last evening. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit you, thank you.
The cleansing was great today– I continued to munch on raw fruits or veggies throughout the day to, eh, well, you know. I was craving a pineapple like you wouldn’t believe and made a special trip on my lunch break to run to the market to pick one up. I came up with what I’d like to call… Sunny Side Up! 1/2 pineapple, 1/2 a lemon and a 6 carrots! The verdict: The GOOD! I didn’t add any greens only because I’ve been consuming a whole bunch of raw kale; I feel like a rabbit sometimes because I eat such large quantities. But I don’t think rabbits sprinkle on fresh lemon juice and a dash of crushed red pepper [smiles].Side note: I’m not wearing any make-up other than a quick swipe of mascara– my skin is starting to clear up wonderfully! This next week will be the true test, and ladies I think you know what I’m talking about.
I’m doing an early entry today prior to dinner only because I’m going boxing right after work and will want to veg after– on the front porch, not in front of the computer. Dinner will most likely consist of the GREEN MONSTER! and another side of kale. Long run tomorrow to get myself back on track– I can’t wait!
Pedometer challenge update: yesterday was the last day and our final numbers were submitted this morning. Keep your fingers crossed! I’d really love a new iPod nano…
I’ll leave ya’ll with a few quotes that I’ve read recently that put a little pep in my step:
Surround yourself with people you trust to make you better, not drag you down, and keep at it.
Yesterday you said tomorrow.
YOU earn your body. I want to be healthy. I want to look and feel better. I will eat right. I will exercise. I will earn my body.
