Last week flew by and this morning when I looked back in my planner, I realized I missed a special date. Well actually, I realized I missed two special dates, including National French Fry Day back on the 13th (the day I ran the Boiler Maker). Staying on track and not talking about my love for fried potato sticks, the 31st of July marked my fourth year blogging!
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about this tiny space of mine on the Internet and while the thoughts are on mind, I wanted to leave a little note of thanks to all my readers. I hope you all know how much I appreciate your return each week, or every month, to check out the snippets of my everyday life. It’s an amazing feeling to have the support of people I’ve never met before, and probably never will. The beau and I felt this support last month when we were on the hunt for a kitty-sitter and randomly, a fellow blogger of whom I’ve never really met, offered. It worked out perfectly and I couldn’t get over how generous this person was to take time out of her day to travel to Troy, twice a day, and put up with Roscoe. (That is the cat’s name by the way- the last time I typed it out was in September 2012.) Super thankful indeed.
Blows my mind that I’ve been at this for four years now and to think it all started with a way to keep my co-workers updated on my stay-cation. Ha! My life has certainly changed from that summer in 2010 and I’d like to think that I’ve grown a lot too. And with that, this space has also changed. Everything I’ve shared over the years I’ve felt was worth sharing and I love being able to look back at all of the memories. The break-up of a ten-year relationship, marathon training, my first dates with the beau; it has surely has been a doozy but you’ve all stuck it out- thank you! Thank you for following along as I figure out how this space is going to change with me. Lastly, thank you for all of your emails and comments; I love interacting with my readers and learning a little more about each of you.
Whew! So many thank-yous! Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday, whoever you are.
